Senior Executive Communications Consultant

Drive strategic change.APS is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Executive Communications Consultant to lead our executive communications program. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Office of the CEO, communications departments, public affairs, and executives across the company to build, leverage and protect the reputation and influence of our executive team with both internal and external stakeholders. This role focuses on pairing authentic, credible voices with company objectives and strategies to align our enterprise leadership team and further our purpose to do what is right for the people and prosperity of Arizona.

Excellent project management skills.
1) Serves in an informal leadership role, providing guidance and counsel to other members of the Communications team.
2) Consults with internal and/or external clients and proactively develops communications strategy and projects; develops project timelines and action plans to ensure project goals are met in a timely and quality manner.
3) Works with internal and/or external clients and executives to measure satisfaction with department work, whether through formal surveys or informal discussions. Provides feedback to team members to ensure continued improvement
4) Develops strong collaboration across all Communication departments to ensure alignment and consistency. Often represents entire department on key strategic projects and serves as lead on some cross-department projects.
5) Based on specific functional areas, develops, writes, evaluates and updates internal and/or external content and information for communications channels BU leaders and/or officers.
6) Develops processes and procedures to effectively track progress of all projects; produces weekly project status reports for department leaders.
