JOB SUMMARY
ONEOK Corporate Communications is seeking an internal communications consultant who is passionate about developing communications solutions that inform, engage and connect ONEOK’s 6,000-plus employees. This is an opportunity to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment with a top-notch communications team at a company that truly values communications, employee engagement and culture.
The ideal candidate has experience in internal/employee communications, corporate communications and/or large organizations that have diverse populations. This is a hybrid position that can be based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, or Dallas, Texas.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and execute strategic communications plans that support internal business partner priorities and align with ONEOK’s companywide strategic objectives, culture and brand.
•Build and maintain relationships with various internal business partners, understanding their needs and serving as a trusted advisor and liaison on behalf of Corporate Communications. Conduct regular check-in meetings and manage requests from these internal business partners, determining best ways to accomplish shared goals.
•Develop and execute communications campaigns that accomplish goals and drive value within the organization, while reaching employees across multiple states, in both corporate and field positions.
•Research, write and edit communications, including intranet stories, email newsletters, presentations, town halls, signage, web copy, brochures and mailers, creating inspirational, influential and informational communications that are clear, concise and aligned with company brand and goals.
•Coordinate with Corporate Communications team members to maintain editorial calendar and other planning tools, ensuring communications deadlines are met.
•Utilize analytics and employee feedback to measure reach, engagement and behavior change, turning insights into actionable improvements for future communications campaign success.
•Adhere to ONEOK messaging and branding in all communications to build advocacy with employees.
•Develop visually engaging internal materials, such as digital signage or simple graphics, in partnership with agency partners or independently, when appropriate.
Requirements
•Minimum of five years in communications with internal/employee or corporate communications experience preferred; experience in oil and gas, midstream or similar industry is a plus.
•Familiarity with basic graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint) and visual storytelling principles is preferred. Ability to develop or edit simple visuals that support message clarity and engagement is a plus.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Job Profile Summary
Oversees, develops and implements strategic digital communication initiatives and/or programs to achieve business objectives for internal and external audiences.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
•Utilize existing digital communications channels to relay corporate information including but not limited to Internet, intranet, social media, broadcast television and webcasts. Make recommendations for improvement on existing practices and analyze and recommend new mediums and communications opportunities
•Ensure internal and external online communications comply with corporate policies and guidelines. Complete periodic review and update as appropriate of the Social Computing Policy and related guidelines to make certain they address current needs based on the social media best practices, corporate security, and legal requirements
•Ensure online standards are applied; messages and choice of communication channels are consistent and appropriate to the audience and will drive desired outcomes and behaviors. Utilize data including but not limited to Internet and intranet analytics, user demographics, user feedback, best practices, social media analytics and research to support and improve use of existing emerging technologies
•Oversee assignment and production of news releases and feature stories for company publications, and audiovisual and video presentations for internal and external audiences; calculate spacing and layout requirements in design of publications; develop and monitor budget process related to production of internal publications, electronic communications, annual report and media plan
•Provide guidance and support to executives, managers and employees with communication-related activities
•Develop, implement, train others and use appropriate digital communication channels to meet internal client requirements and to reach specific audiences
Education
•Bachelor's Degree in communications, journalism, other related field, or equivalent experience and the following job-related functions:
