- Execute production cost modeling runs and develop long-term ancillary services price projections.
- Lead and support consulting projects of high complexity.
- Model renewable energy, energy storage, hybrid resources, electric vehicles, demand response, and distributed energy resources.
- Develop energy, ancillary services, capacity, and Renewable Energy Credit (REC) price forecasts.
- Design and execute complex North American electricity market scenarios.
- Analyze and present regional power market trends.
- Enhance strategic consulting capabilities with the renewable developer community.
- Establish client contacts at senior levels and provide strategic coaching.
- Provide insights for software tool improvements and roadmaps.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field.
- Postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
- Relevant industry technical certifications are desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in energy market consulting
- Expertise in one or more Energy Portfolio Management (EPM) simulation model software products, such as:
- Production Cost Modelling (Zonal and/or Nodal)
- Integrated resource planning
- Long-term electricity price forecasting
- Capacity Expansion
- Asset Valuation
- Stochastic analysis
