In-Home Solar and Battery Consultation Representative

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced In-Home Solar and Battery Consultation Representative to conduct in-home consultations for pre-qualified solar and battery leads. This role offers significant income potential for driven individuals who excel in a sales-driven, customer-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities

- Conduct pre-scheduled in-home consultations with qualified leads to assess their energy needs and present tailored solar and battery solutions.

- Educate homeowners on the benefits of solar energy and battery storage, addressing their questions and concerns with professionalism.

- Perform site evaluations to determine the feasibility of solar and battery installations, including roof assessments and energy usage analysis.

- Prepare and present customized proposals, outlining costs, savings, and financing options.

- Close sales agreements by building trust and demonstrating the value of our solutions.

- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any post-consultation needs.

- Maintain accurate records of consultations, sales, and follow-ups in our CRM system.


Qualifications

- Proven track record in in-home sales or consultations, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or a related field.

- Strong work ethic and self-motivation, with a drive to exceed sales targets.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with homeowners.

- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts in a clear, customer-friendly manner.

- Comfortable working independently and managing a schedule of 10 weekly appointments.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-home visits.

- Basic knowledge of solar energy systems and battery storage is a plus, but training will be provided.

Duties

- Conduct outside sales activities to promote energy solutions, focusing on solar products.

- Engage with potential customers through door-to-door visits and community outreach initiatives.

- Utilize Salesforce and other CRM software to manage leads, track sales progress, and maintain customer relationships.

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive client experience.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and attract new clients.

- Leverage negotiation skills to close sales effectively while maintaining strong relationships with clients.

- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in energy solutions to provide accurate information to customers.

- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.


Skills

- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in energy or technical sales environments.

- Strong marketing acumen with the ability to develop effective promotional strategies.

- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse client bases.

- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing customer interactions and sales data.

- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.

- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.

- Leadership qualities that enable you to motivate yourself and potentially guide others in the future.

Pay: $88,712.67 - $176,836.77 per year
