Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Energy Consultant to join our growing team across the U.S. and Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and delivering customized solar energy solutions. The ideal candidate will already have knowledge of the solar industry and related products. As a Senior Energy Consultant, you will engage with clients directly, either in-person or virtually, providing them with tailored energy solutions.
- Develop solar energy analysis reports for clients and recommended solutions
- Meet with clients either in person or virtually and conduct solar consultations, demonstrating technical knowledge of energy products and services
- Effectively communicate and educate our clients on benefits of solar energy solutions
- Utilize CRM software manage customer relationships and track sales activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective promotional materials and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to close sales effectively.
- Mentor and lead junior sales staff, sharing best practices in negotiation and customer engagement.
- Proven experience in outside sales, particularly within the energy or solar industry.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable but not required to engage a broader client base.
- Proficient in using CRM software and solar design software for managing leads, tracking performance metrics, creating designs, and submitting projects
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Technical sales experience is beneficial, particularly related to energy solutions.
