Job Summary
Senior Electrification Program Specialist is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of products and services within Alliant Energy’s Electrification program. This includes product and service ideation, managing the portfolio funnel and funnel gate checks, and ensuring market research is completed to support existing products, new product development, product implementation, and management. This position manages and coordinates cross-functional relationships across Alliant Energy to ensure complex customer solutions are evaluated, researched, and implemented to achieve and/or exceed customer sales goals, loyalty, and satisfaction.
What You Will Do
- Leads research focused on technical, policy, and/or financial impact of electrification technologies, solutions, and programs.
- Works closely with senior staff to perform policy and market assessments, including making informed recommendations based on independent analysis.
- Leads technical assistance requests and provides customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Supports Alliant Energy’s strategic planning by leading the product portfolio of their key customer segments and identifying unmet customer needs, market trends, and sales growth opportunities.
- Assists in developing and maintaining electrification strategy roadmap, including performing scouting of electrification technology and innovative solutions.
- Supports and potentially leads electrification rate and tariff filings, including data analysis, written testimony, responding to data requests, and stakeholder management.
- Engages in discussions with third party stakeholders and intervenors.
- Leads and directs Alliant Energy Facility Services and Fleet departments to complete site assessments for future electrification initiatives to and provide equipment recommendations. Works with Project Management teams to ensure successful implementation of programs and pilots.
- Leads electrification programs including but not limited to internal light-duty fleet, including working with various internal stakeholders and program sponsors to ensure effective implementation and rollout of programs.
- Engages in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy’s Values and helps deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities.
- Bachelor’s Degree Emphasis in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field. Preferred
- 5 years of experience in research, analytics, project management, utilities, or closely related area.

Pay Range:
$91,500 - $126,000
This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
