Job Description:

A Senior Electrical Engineer position responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex electrical systems in semiconductor and mission-critical facilities, providing technical leadership for power distribution, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee electrical design packages and provide technical leadership

- Perform quality reviews and manage complex design processes

- Prepare technical specifications and construction documents

- Lead project meetings as Electrical discipline lead

- Interface with clients, owners, and contractors

- Conduct voltage drop, arc flash, and load flow calculations

- Review vendor submittals and perform site punch walks

- Develop innovative solutions for complex electrical challenges

- Guide team members and ensure design quality

Skills and Qualifications:

Required:

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering (ABET-accredited)

- Professional Engineer (PE) license with ability to obtain Idaho licensure

- 10+ years experience in building electrical design

- Expert knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)

- Proficiency in SKM PTW, EasyPower or similar modeling software

- Experience with electrical equipment specification and selection

Preferred:

- Semiconductor/Data Center facility design experience

- 2+ years experience with semiconductor manufacturing tools

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM software

- Strong project leadership capabilities

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- Experience in cleanroom environments

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects

- Strong client relationship skills

Role Details:

Location: Boise, ID

Pay: $48-$73/hr
