About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager to join our Fort Lauderdale office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead electrical design projects across residential, commercial, and high-rise developments throughout South Florida. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation in MEP engineering, proven project leadership experience, and a collaborative mindset to deliver exceptional design quality and client service.
- Lead and manage electrical design projects from concept through construction administration, ensuring technical accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction
- Develop electrical plans, specifications, and details for residential, commercial, and high-rise buildings using Revit and AutoCAD
- Oversee design coordination with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural)
- Perform load calculations, lighting and power distribution layouts, grounding systems, and code compliance analysis
- Review and seal drawings as a Florida-licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and design teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Mentor junior engineers and designers, fostering technical growth and quality standards
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables while ensuring adherence to internal processes and industry best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Active Florida PE license required
- 5–10 years of progressive design experience at MEP engineering firms
- Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for electrical system design and documentation
- Demonstrated experience managing projects in residential, commercial, and high-rise sectors
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with clients and internal teams
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Fort Lauderdale (not a hybrid role)
