Sunbelt Home Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist Proficient in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to join our team. This position would be responsible for managing accurate financial and banking records, contacting customers and lenders to collect payments. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial concepts. This position is an in-office position, must be able to commute to our St. Pete Office.

Key Responsibilities:
•Maintaining financial records using QuickBooks Desktop, Paycor, Excel and company CRM
•Accounting Tasks: Prepare journal entries, balance checks, perform bank reconciliation, and handle accounts payable/receivable duties.
•Generate financial reports related to payroll expenses and provide summaries for management review.
•Must be able to read and understand P&L reports
•Utilize QuickBooks for effective payroll management and reporting.
•Assisting with audits both external and internal
•Stay up to date with accounting standards and procedures
•Familiar with accrual-based accounting
Required Qualifications:
•7+ years of experience in accounting
•Proficient in Excel is required
•Knowledge of Lead Perfection CRM is a plus
•Experience with QuickBooks for accounting tasks.
•Knowledge and experience with journal entries, bank reconciliation, and accounts payable.
•Accounting Certification is required.
•Strong understanding of employee onboarding processes and benefits administration.
•Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
•Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
