Job Description
The Senior Accountant (Real Estate) will be responsible for financial management and support for the company's real estate projects, including bookkeeping, financial analysis, tax reporting and compliance, and financial report preparation. This position requires close collaboration with external accountants and tax agencies to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, supporting the company’s compliance and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
•Bilingual: Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
•Handle accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and bookkeeping for a property management company, including related affordable housing issues.
•Manage day-to-day bookkeeping to ensure accuracy, including accounts receivable/payable, revenue recognition, and expense processing.
•Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and other documentation to ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP.
•Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and real estate industry standards.
•Ensure tax compliance for real estate projects, accurately filing real estate taxes, RPIE statements, and other required filings.
•Support internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and explaining financial status.
•File government annual reports, such as biennial e-files, Delaware annual reports, and other statements.
•Maintain and track all costs related to construction projects.
•Liaise with external auditors and tax professionals..
•Perform any additional tasks assigned by top management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
