Sandblaster- Afternoon/ Evening Shift

Progressive Rubber Industries is a leader in the manufacturing of abrasion and corrosion resistant components for the Mining, Aggregate and Power Industries. We have been in business in Kamloops BC, since 1997.

Job Requirements:

· Ability to comprehend and follow written procedures and drawings.

· Proficient using hand and power tools.

· Ability to work safely with chemicals and follow WHMIS guidelines. Wear PPE.

· Ensure quality standards are maintained and meet production levels.

· Physically able to lift and handle heavy objects.

· Previous experience working with types of rubber and/ or with solvent based adhesives would be an asset but not necessary.

· Forklift experience an asset but will train if required.

· Must be reliable and able to work afternoon/ evening shifts and site work.

· Have a good attitude with enthusiasm to learn.

Wage will depend on experience and transferable skill level.
