- Generate and qualify leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals, networking, and company-generated leads
- Conduct consultations (in-person or virtual) to assess customer energy needs and present tailored solar solutions
- Educate customers on the environmental and financial benefits of solar energy
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and proposals
- Close sales and manage the transition to the installation and customer support teams
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of solar products, market trends, and incentives
- Use CRM software to track leads, communications, and sales progress
- Proven experience in outside sales, with a strong understanding of territory management and lead generation techniques.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software for effective account management and reporting.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell products based on customer needs.
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for clients at every interaction.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly for maximum impact.
- Experience in technical sales or marketing is highly desirable, particularly within the B2B sector.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective presentations and product demos.
