The following responsibilities are the primary tasks of the sales representative. However, this list is not inclusive and may change over time
- Implement sales strategies and work to meet or exceed sales goals
- Identify business opportunities, penetrate new markets and develop new accounts
- Conduct sales calls throughout all levels of the customer’s organization
- Generate sales revenue meeting or exceeding assigned sales projections
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, constantly monitoring their evolving needs
- Network extensively to maintain and pursue business relationships
- Track and report the current status of customer's current and potential projects, news and developments
- Provide industry specific insight and opportunity assessments
- Write, submit and negotiate bids with customers
- Solicit customer feedback through the proposal and execution phases
- Manage the sales cycle from initial customer contact through technical support while the job is ongoing
- Identify and evaluate emerging industry trends that will foster growth and regional opportunities to differentiate the company from the competition
- Utilize Salesforce to manage the sales cycle, analyze customer activity and track budgets
- Provide superior customer service through effective communication
- All other duties as assigned- 5+ years of proven experience in oilfield industry
- Strong relationships with producers in West Texas, specifically in the production and completions sector of oil and gas
- Ability to negotiate and maintain strong business relationships
- Energetic, proactive, self-motivated and direct
- College degree preferred, but not required in lieu of experience
