-Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Trainer to provide professional training on consumer drones, focusing on models used for aerial photography and recreational flying. You will be responsible for educating retailers, consumers, and partners on the correct, safe, and effective use of drone technology across Canada.
-Duties
•Develop and deliver engaging training sessions (online and in-person) on consumer drone products.
•Customize training materials based on the audience, including retail staff and end users.
•Conduct live product demonstrations and hands-on flight training to ensure users master drone operation, smart features, shooting techniques, and basic maintenance.
•Educate users on Canada’s drone regulations (e.g., Transport Canada rules) to ensure safe and legal flying.
•Gather and analyze feedback from training sessions to improve training quality and enhance user experience.
•Support product showcases at marketing events, trade shows, and public demonstrations.
•Act as a feedback bridge between end users and product teams to relay customer concerns and improvement suggestions.
-Basic Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Aerospace, Electronics, Computer Science, Education, or Media Production.
•Prior experience in the drone industry, consumer electronics, technical training, or education is preferred.
•Solid knowledge of consumer drones, including portable, mini, FPV, and camera drone types.
•RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) certification (Basic/Advanced) in Canada is a plus.
•Excellent public speaking and teaching abilities, with a knack for clearly explaining product features and safe operation.
•Strong English communication skills; French is a plus.
•Willingness to travel for training sessions across cities in Canada.
-Preferred Qualifications
•Hands-on experience flying various drone models and using drone control and simulation apps.
•Knowledge of aerial photography, videography, and editing, especially for training material creation.
•Experience in retail training or sales education, with insight into consumer learning behavior.
•Familiarity with social media content creation such as short videos or live streaming for educational purposes.
