Job Description:
The Sales Manager will collaborate closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Commercial & Residential Installation teams. This role is responsible for leading a growing sales team and driving revenue growth in the Central and North Valley markets.
Job Duties:
•Manage day-to-day sales processes, KPIs, and revenue-producing activities to ensure smooth sales operations.
•Produce and analyze sales reports, supporting pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
•Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, ensuring motivation and success in achieving targets.
•Oversee CRM reporting, ensuring data accuracy and effective utilization for sales tracking and analysis.
•Work closely with operations teams to ensure effective customer communication, including project coordination and post-installation follow-up.
•Support sales forecasting activities and help set performance goals for the sales team.
•Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to drive alignment and ensure business goals are met.
•Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies to expand market share in the Central and North Valley regions.
•Meet with key clients, assist account managers in maintaining relationships, and support negotiation and deal closures.
•Act as a key liaison between the sales department and other related units, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
Job Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
•3+ years of experience in a managerial or leadership role in a related field preferred.
•Proven experience in sales operations or related roles.
•Experience in managing budgets, contracts, and (PNL).
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships and team dynamics effectively.
•Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including development, sales, marketing, and operations.
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:
•Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
•Must have minimal ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach, push, and pull as required for light duties of standard office clerical positions.
•Occasional lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
•Exposure to air-conditioned/heated office environment.
•Hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word level.
•Visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing data, operation of office equipment, and determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work.
