What You'll Do:

As the Business Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations while directly contributing to our growth. You'll be a key player in promoting the customer experience that we require, navigating and implementing changes, and driving progress across various functions through effective task management. Your diverse responsibilities will include:


Driving Sales & Customer Engagement:

Excelling in an inside sales role, proactively engaging with customers to understand their needs and effectively close deals.
Leading, mentoring, and motivating our sales team to achieve and exceed targets.


Operational Excellence & Financial Management:

Taking ownership of budget management, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to spending plans.
Strategically managing purchasing processes to optimize inventory and cost-effectiveness.
Ensuring meticulous data entry and maintaining accurate records.
Strictly following and optimizing operational processes to enhance efficiency, adapt to evolving needs, and drive continuous improvement.
Expertly handling task management across your responsibilities, directing the team and ensuring orders and projects stay on track and deadlines are met in our dynamic environment.


Facility & Equipment Oversight:

Monitoring and maintaining high standards of workshop cleanliness and organization.
Regularly monitoring machine operation to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Operating various power tools, forklifts, and other equipment as needed for daily tasks.
Accurately using a tape measure and applying strong math skills (including fractions and geometry) for precise measurements and material utilization.


Who You Are:

You are a proactive, hands-on manager with a proven track record in a similar multi-faceted role, ready to embrace continual change and drive progress. Specifically, you possess:

Demonstrated success in an inside sales or customer-facing role.
Experience in budget management and purchasing.
Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to data entry and adherence to processes, with a knack for effective task management.
The ability to type full speed and efficiently navigate computer systems.
Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing and motivating a sales team.
Practical experience with facility management and equipment oversight.
Proficiency in operating power tools, forklifts, and other relevant equipment so you are able to observe and participate (where required).
Strong math skills, including the ability to work with fractions and understand basic geometry.
A valid Louisiana Class D Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, crucial for a growth environment.
Adaptability and a proactive approach to continual change.

Compensation:

$44,000 - $70,000+ annually consisting of a base hourly rate, plus performance-based incentives. A performance based bonus is available anytime you and/or the team exceed national averages. We will start you on a 4-week training path in which you’ll learn all about metal, purchasing and our internal processes and procedures. From your first day, you’ll have the opportunity for an unlimited Performance Based Bonus based on store and individual performance.
