Responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the US sales team, helping to foster strong client relationships, and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer experiences that align with established sales initiatives and the overall company vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing sales team, motivated to exceed company sales targets and deliver exceptional customer outcomes
- Collaborating with the global leadership team to ensure US sales strategies align with the company’s international objectives and future growth plans
- Identifying industry opportunities, through emerging trends, competitor activities and market movements
- Cultivating strategic partnerships with industry associations and influencers to help enhance market access and create networking opportunities
- Helping to negotiate high-value contracts and agreements, ensuring favourable terms that will lead to improved company profitability and long-term customer satisfaction
- Leading key initiatives to expand the company’s presence in key US regions with significant mining and industrial activity
- Providing input into the design and implementation of standardised sales processes, including lead qualification, pipeline management, and deal closure practices
- Overseeing the development of sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure complete transparency, accountability and guaranteed results
- A strategic leader with deep industry knowledge, a proven track record in B2B sales, and the ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams
- Strong planning and project management skills, with a proven ability to problem solve, negotiate and influence
- Demonstrated success with market expansion initiatives, driving revenue growth and closing high-value deals in complex, technical sales environments
- A well-developed technical acumen with the ability to grasp and articulate the more complex aspects of company products and services
