As our organization grows and community solar launches in Pennsylvania, we've set a target to grow our south east PA footprint and launch another operational office by Q3, and we are seeking a Territory Sales Manager, who will play a pivotal role in promoting sustainable energy solutions by leading a team of dedicated sales professionals:
- subscribing residential customers to local community solar farms + our supplier personal shopper service, which increases savings for customers
- scheduling rooftop solar leads, eventually, handling consultations once the field team is scaled out to a dozen reps
Community solar is NOT rooftop solar - meaning renters and lower income communities can participate in the transition to a clean energy future. There is no installation, no long term contracts or any fees, no credit checks - just guaranteed savings from local, community solar developments!
This is also not a 9-5, sit at the office, watch the clock role. Potential to earn significant income, but, that requires, significant effort! Think you have what it takes to lead others?
Community Engagement: Promote the benefits of community solar and other renewable energy programs and educate potential customers about the advantages of each. Lead from the front in field sales performance while starting this team.
Training and Development: Conduct daily sales meetings to provide training and development opportunities to your sales team to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer engagement abilities.
Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales metrics, track individual and team performance, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure consistent growth in customer subscriptions.
Reporting: Generate regular reporting on team performance, sales activities, and KPI's to share with upper management.
- Minimum 3 years sales experience, in an outside residential sales environment, leading teams.
- Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team to success.
- Passion for clean energy and a commitment to sustainability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the solar, energy industry and/or community solar programs is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, not required; high school diploma and experience required- Base pay ($40-50,000) + competitive commissions paid weekly, minimum combined will be $77,000 yearly and team performance-based bonuses (weekly). - Expected combined yearly earnings should be $120,000 to $150,000+

Our sales support staff will handle front end recruiting, most of the administrative work, all accounting, provide account management and more. Starting, we need this sales leader to maximize their income by conducting sales and leading the initial team of 6-8 future leaders, and developing another 3 field leaders.
