Crow Precision Components, LLC (Crow) is a forge manufacturing company based in Fort Worth, Texas. Crow is a division of WHI Global, LLC, (www.whiglobal.com). Crow’s 98,000 square foot manufacturing facility operates 2 shifts; and its capacity includes 6 hammers, 12 hydraulic presses, and a screw press. Crow is NADCAP certified to perform Heat Treat and Non-Destructive Testing. Crow is ISO 9001 and AS 9100D certified.


Job Description:

The Sales Manager reports directly to the General Manager (GM) and has dotted line reporting to the home office (WHI Global) Vice-President of Sales. This position is responsible for leading all sales initiatives, customer service, and customer interactions for the company. The Sales Manager shall manage all required sales and customer service functions; and is responsible for hiring, training, and developing staff to effectively complete the requisite workload.

This position is very “hands-on” with two direct reports. The Sales Manager has full responsibility for managing customer accounts to ensure timely and accurate quoting, execution of sales orders, customer invoicing, and contributing to month-end reporting. The Sales Manager is responsible for all customer communications. Travel may be required, but travel requirements are infrequent.


Responsibilities & Duties:

Customer account management to ascertain needs and market products.

Manage entire order process from Request for Quote through order fulfillment.

- Submit timely and accurate quotes and sales orders consistent with customer purchase orders.

- Coordinate with Operations to resolve production scheduling issues; and ensure proper communication with customers.

Negotiation of credit terms and long-term purchase agreements in coordination with the GM.

Manage collection of accounts receivable in coordination with the Corporate Controller.


Train and supervise Sales team to:

- ensure all customer communications are professional in appearance and tone, and

- to properly maintain Sales’ applicable systems and customer documentation.

Serve as the Company’s primary administrator of all customer portals.


Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:


Must be a United States person.

High school diploma or GED certificate is required.

- A college degree or trade certifications are desired but not required.

Solid experience working with Microsoft applications, large MRP / ERP systems, and ZOHO.

4 – 6 years of customer service experience with managerial responsibilities.

1 – 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations is required.

- Forging and forging tooling & design is desired but not required.

- Experience in the aerospace industry is strongly preferred but not required.

Practical experience working with Quality Management Systems. AS9100 preferred.

Capable of standing for extended periods of time.

Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling weights up to 25 pounds for short periods of time.
