Your Opportunity

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

- Oversee a team of Rental Shop Attendants and leads, offering guidance and support where needed to keep operations running smoothly, making sure both guests and staff have a great experience.

- Ensure all staff adhere to proper procedures to provide a high-quality guest service, experience and presentation for visitors.

- Motivate and support seasonal staff, leading by example, while providing coaching and performance feedback to help them succeed.

- Assist Sr. Department Supervisor, Rental and Retail with weekly ski calibration testing, and make sure all test receipts are kept and stored securely

- Support with the development of department SOP’s

- Assist with staff training both pre-season and in-season

- Communicate with senior staff and other departments at Conservation Halton

- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals.

- Other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of rental shop experience.

- Working knowledge of snow sliding equipment is required.

- Proven supervisory and customer service experience.

- Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills.

- Organized, with strong documentation skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to adapt to the daily challenges associated with a fast-paced work environment

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, nights and holidays

- Able to lift up to 25 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time.

- Successful candidates are required to provide a Criminal Record Check (CRC), to verify the absence of a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted (if over 18 years old). Cost covered by Conservation Halton up to $30.00.* - A valid Ontario Drivers Licence, minimum Class “G2”, with a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract is required. Abstract completed by Conservation Halton*.

- Successful candidates must complete and/or submit a copy of Bindings Certificates

- CH parks are not accessible by public transit; candidates should ensure they have reliable transportation.
