Renewables Compliance Specialist

Job description:

HF Sinclair is seeking a Renewables Compliance Specialist  in Dallas, TX, who will be responsible to develop and manage compliance tools and data required for HF Sinclair’s national, state, and international renewable fuel programs with a particular focus on the Renewable Fuels Standard and various Low Carbon Fuels Programs. This position will work alongside the renewable diesel facilities and commercial team.

Job Duties

Experience

A minimum of 4 years of extensive industry and on-the-job experience is required. Specific appropriate experience includes:

Education Level

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in data analytics, finance, environmental science, and/or chemistry-related degree or course work is required.

Preferred Education

Master’s Degree.

Required Skills

Intermediate working knowledge of Excel and various other Office programs.  SAP experience is strongly preferred.  Strong time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Skill

Experience with EPA Renewable Fuels Standard, Low Carbon/Clean Fuels Programs, and Cap and Trade preferred. Familiarity with renewable fuels preferred.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

None.

Work Conditions

Office and plant-based with travel up to 20% of the time required by land and air. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment, out-of-doors environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, and rotating equipment. Required to work in all temperatures, including outdoors. Subject to varying road and weather conditions.
