Responsibilities: The Compliance Specialist assists with the implementation of the various components of Diversified’ s Regulatory Compliance programs. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Assists the Compliance Manager with maintaining procedures, codes and standards to ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal Regulations. Assists the Compliance Manager with the development and implementation of the companies Operator Qualifications (OQ) program. Assist in the development of standard operating procedures. Analyzes and interprets industry standards and regulations. Responsible for helping with the development and implementation of the companies welding program. Including Welder testing, weld procedure development and weld procedure qualification. Assists in the management of Compliance data including PHMSA reporting criteria. Supports the Compliance Manager during the incident investigation process. Supports the Compliance Manager in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the various local, state, and federal regulatory offices. Assists in the collection and preparation of Compliance audit data. Participates in and leads regulatory audit interactions. Work with field employees and conduct QA_QC evaluations on required OQ and procedure task. Assists the Compliance Manager with the Damage Prevention program. Assist the Compliance Manager ensuring Emergency Plan is up to date. Assist the Compliance Manager with data collection and review of RV and PSV valves protecting regulated assets. Assist Operations with facilitating repairs on regulated facilities and pipelines Position can be in the Virginia, Kentucky or Tennessee operating footprint. Completes special projects, other duties and annual objectives as assigned. Position requires 15% overnight travel. Qualifications: Bachelors in a technical/ industry-related field preferred. NACE CP1 or higher, preferred. AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent certification, preferred. Minimum five (5) years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry supporting field operations. Experience with weld procedure development/ qualification and welder testing. Experience with asset data management/ work order management systems- EAM/ MAXIMO System experience with Cygnet/ SCADA Knowledge of applicable State and Federal Regulations pertaining to the Transportation of Natural Gas by Pipeline. Proficiency in the collection, processing and interpretation of various field data sets. Excellent computer skills ( PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel) Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization. Demonstrated ability to organize and interpret data, and to problem solve. Demonstrated ability to instruct and coach other employees at all skill levels. Demonstrated technical writing skills. Experience with Welder testing and Welding procedure development. Experience with corrosion control process and procedures. System experience with Cygnet/SCADA.
