Teine has an immediate opening for a part‐time Relief Contract Operator in the Hoosier area, reporting to the area Foreman.

Responsibilities:

- Safely manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of oil and gas wells, pumpjacks, compression, and waterflood.

- Support the daily execution of the business plan—including production targets, HSE compliance, OPEX management, and reliability—by identifying opportunities to maximize production, reduce operating costs, and minimize downtime.

- Perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.

- Conduct routine housekeeping, performance monitoring, and general maintenance activities.

- Provide operating coverage as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- This is a contract-based position.

- Schedule will fluctuate based on operational and coverage needs.

- Minimum of 5 years of operating experience. A Petroleum Engineering Technologist diploma or other relevant technical training will also be considered.

- Proficient with basic MS Office applications.

- Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and be able to provide a clean driver’s abstract.

- Contractors must be incorporated.

- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

- Valid H2S and First Aid/CPR certifications.
