Reporting to the Process Plant Reliability Manager, you will be part of the Process Plant Maintenance Department. You will be responsible for championing and implementing a world class reliability program that will maximize production and profit by minimizing downtime. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Ensure the safety of the team by applying a zero harm approach to all tasks performed;
- Oversee and prioritize the workload for approximately 10 reports;
- Optimizing plant availability and throughput by developing and implementing world class reliability programs ensuring asset reliability and integrity;
- Overseeing condition monitoring activities related to all process plant equipment;
- Conducting regular and formal downtime analysis for critical equipment;
- Analyze and collaborate with maintenance personnel on strategies and procedures and make recommendations to improve safety, efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; or Technologist/Red Seal with exceptional experience in a similar leadership role;
- Minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory capacity;
- Minimum of five (5) years experience implementing equipment reliability programs;
- Knowledge in common condition monitoring techniques; (Vibration, Oil Analysis, Ultrasonic, etc.);
- Experience in mineral processing specifically with Crushers, SAG and Ball mills, bearings, gears, drives and mechanical seals is an asset;
- Strong business acumen and intermediate level knowledge of PI Vison/Historian and SAP;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
