This pay range represents a general target and is not reflective of the full pay range. Offers to selected candidates are contingent upon various factors such as skills, experience and education.
- Manage PUC projects and rulemaking activities and assist with monitoring PUC proceedings including contested rate cases.
- Prepare analyses to support financial regulatory filings with the PUC on a monthly, quarterly and annual cadence.
- Assist with special research projects on complex accounting and financial issues in utility rate proceedings.
- Advise billing, finance and other internal stakeholders on billing issues and calculations.
- Schedule review meetings, coordinate comments and filing deadlines, and proofread regulatory filings including testimony, schedules and exhibits.
- Six or more years of experience working with utility regulatory processes in fields such as regulatory affairs, finance, information technology/security, project management or law or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in business, economics, science, finance, accounting, public policy, law, mathematics or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Experience in accounting and financial reporting, research, analysis and written communication skills.
- Experience with analyzing and evaluating accounting and financial issues for electric, water, gas and telecommunications utilities.
- Experience with utility cost of service/revenue requirement ratemaking principles, regulatory accounting, cost allocation, and rate design.
