As a Regional Operations Associate, you’ll serve as a critical operational and administrative partner to the Regional Manager—helping ensure that every property in the portfolio runs smoothly, remains compliant, and delivers on our promise of operational excellence. In this high-trust role, you'll support the execution of regional priorities, track key performance and compliance data, and drive accountability by managing systems, processes, and follow-through.

With a keen eye for detail and a mindset of continuous improvement, you help refine processes, uncover insights, and build tools that enhance clarity and efficiency.

Your ability to anticipate needs, follow through reliably, and align with leadership priorities makes you a vital partner to the Regional Manager and to the broader success of the region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative & Scheduling Support
•Coordinate key meetings, property walks, and operational check-ins for the Regional Manager
•Schedule regular property walks and ensure inspections are completed
•Capture key takeaways and ensure accountability on action items from regional meetings
2. Compliance & Process Tracking
•Track open compliance issues (e.g., NOVs, safety concerns, pending city inspections)
•Maintain regional inspection logs and assist with preparing for lender or investor reviews
•Ensure timely follow-up on life/safety, pest, or habitability issues flagged by MTs
•Ensure preventative maintenance schedule is followed
•Be a point of contact for scheduling inspections (compliance/lender/etc)
•Analyze trends in compliance issues to identify recurring risks or areas for improvement
3. Financial & Operational Reporting
•Monitor and flag anomalies in recurring financial obligations (e.g. utilities, landscaping/janitorial, mortgage payments, taxes)
•Track key property metrics such as occupancy, delinquency, rent collection, and repair turnaround times
•Support analysis of property performance data to identify underperformance or operational gaps
•Assist with compiling regional performance reports and dashboards for leadership
•Assist with compiling financial reports such as utility consumption, vacancy loss amount, etc.
4. Communication & Team Coordination
•Act as a liaison between the Regional and site-level teams to follow up on delegated tasks
•Coordinate onboarding support for new properties in the region
•Support planning and execution of regional team trainings and reviews
5. Project & Systems Support
•Contribute to implementation and optimization of operational tools and systems
•Maintain trackers and drive follow-through for projects such as renovations, vendor transitions, or tech rollouts
•Ensure regional documents are organized and accessible in shared drives or task systems
•Help refine internal processes by identifying bottlenecks or recurring issues
6. Leasing Experience & Property Presentation Support
•Coordinate with site teams to ensure leasing initiatives are properly tracked and executed across the region
•Partner with site teams and marketing to ensure leasing materials (e.g., signage, brochures, digital assets) are accurate, compliant, and aligned with brand standards across the region
•Monitor readiness of leasing offices, model units, and vacant units by tracking cleaning, staging, and presentation quality via established checklists or inspection processes
•Support execution of regional leasing strategies by tracking concessions, rent specials, and leasing goals, and identifying properties that may require additional support or intervention
•Analyze and report on leasing trends to surface opportunities for improved marketing, presentation, or lead conversion
•Troubleshooting support for system-related issues

•Excellent time management — you can prioritize in dynamic environments, juggle multiple tasks, and follow through reliably
•Tech confidence — you're fluent in tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, and ideally familiar with platforms such as AppFolio or similar systems
•Team-first approach — you take pride in supporting others and helping a region function at its best
•Spanish fluency (preferred) — a plus when supporting our diverse communities
•3+ years of experience in regional property management operations, project coordination, or high-level administrative support
•Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, real estate, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience
