Job Summary

- Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude.

- Use software systems to accurately input customer information in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

- Direct traffic flow safely and efficiently within the facility, ensuring customer safety and positive experiences.

- Accurately weigh and record both inbound and outbound loads.

- Help maintain the facility’s cleanliness, appearance, and organization.

- Follow all company safety protocols, procedures, and appearance standards.

- Consistently go the extra mile to create a welcoming environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions clearly, and offering assistance throughout their visit.

- Communicate professionally with customers in-person to resolve inquiries and guide them through the recycling process.

- De-escalate issues calmly and respectfully, ensuring a positive resolution and maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.

- Educate customers on company procedures, pricing, safety rules, and facility layout to ensure a smooth and safe experience.

- Accurately input and manage customer information in the database, ensuring all data complies with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

- Guide customers safely through the facility, ensuring they follow correct paths and safety guidelines.

- Work closely with your supervisor and other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimal delays.

- Support traffic management within the yard, helping coordinate the safe and efficient flow of vehicles.

- Assist with reducing customer cycle time by identifying bottlenecks and communicating customer needs to leadership.

- Participate in maintaining the scale house and surrounding areas to a high standard of cleanliness and organization.

Working Conditions

- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, rain, and cold.

- Must be comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended periods of time.

- The role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to work in an active industrial environment.

Location & Commitments

- Full-time position based in Houston, TX

- Occasional travel to satellite locations may be required
