Recruiter (Bilingual)

Industrial Air Flow Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Craft Recruiter to join our team in Cleveland TX. With over 20 years of experience, Industrial Air Flow Dynamics is the premier field service group in the power generation industry and the leading provider of replacement expansion joint systems, penetration seal systems, and HRSG duct/liner replacement systems. We provide our power plant and utility customers with turn-key solutions driven by our engineering expertise. Our engineering team diagnoses the root cause of the problem and improves the OEM design, then our manufacturing team will build the required products, and our field services team will complete the on-site installation.

As a recruiter at IAFD you will be responsible for timely sourcing and recruitment of qualified candidates that meet the company's safety and productivity expectations. This role is fast-paced and does require occasional work on the weekends to support our field services team.

Responsibilities

- Be proactive in sourcing active and passive craft candidates (welders & laborers) from a variety of sources.

- Prescreen candidates to determine skill level and ensure the candidate is a strong fit for the position.

- Recruit and assist hiring managers with offers of employment.

- Develop relationships with organizations to build a pipeline of candidates.

- Coordinate and facilitate telephone and/or in-person interviews.

- Participate in field operations meetings, when appropriate, to understand staffing needs, build relationships with field service managers, and develop a deeper knowledge of the business.

- Update applicant log and active working log regularly

- Actively participate in career fairs, sourcing events and projects

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant tracking data and metrics to report on recruitment performance.

- Performs other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements

- 2-5 years of experience recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in the construction industry

- Superior verbal and written communication skills.

- Acute attention to detail in a professional atmosphere.

- Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of employment laws

- Driven to succeed and take ownership on every project.

- Must be able to shift priorities and multitask as needed.

- Proficient in All Microsoft applications

- Experience with DISA, Safety councils, and third-party verification systems

- Associate or bachelor's degree is a plus.

- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
