Rear Load Garbage Truck Driver

Job Description:

Shift: Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri

- Due to our tremendous growth, Ace Disposal is looking for Residential truck drivers for the Salt Lake County area. Our drivers are responsible for picking up residential cans.

- All drivers are responsible for waste and recycling collection services in order to ensure that the materials are transported and disposed of in an appropriate manner.

- All drivers must conduct all activities according to the delivery and collection schedule and all relevant company policies and procedures. Drivers must also interact with customers and members of the public in a courteous, respectful and professional manner.

- working closely with Supervisor and Dispatch

- Start time on this position is 6:00am in the morning.

- Starting pay at $24.00 DOE.

Experience and Skills:

- Must hold a current Class A or Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.

- Must have 6 months minimum of driving commercial vehicle experience.

- Must have a clean driving record. (No DUI's)

- Must be able to operate a mobile tablet to communicate with supervisor or Dispatch (sending messages, attaching photos, concerns on route interruptions)

- The ability to push, pull, sit, stand, walk, and other physical requirements as necessary to complete daily duties and responsibilities.

- Ace drivers are responsible for operating waste and recycle trucks in a safe manner. Our drivers must conduct all activities according to the delivery and collection schedule and all relevant company policies

- Ability to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner; ability to communicate effectively; and the ability to read and write to maintain daily records.
