Quality Technician

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of quality control processes; various types of metals; plating, and coating along with the ability to work effectively within a team to uphold compliance with industry regulations and internal quality systems.

Responsibilities

- Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.

- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to assess product dimensions and tolerances.

- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in accordance with ISO 9001 and CGMP.

- Collaborate with production teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.

- Support the development and maintenance of quality systems, including HACCP protocols.

- Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits related to QA/QC processes.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing or laboratory environment.

- Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles, ISO 9001 standards and CGMP guidelines.

- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.

- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
