We are currently seeking a Quality Technician to join our team. This position involves assisting in all aspects of Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities, ensuring conformance and compliance with all applicable requirements.
- Adhere to industry quality and safety standards.
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with quality and/or process issues.
- Generate Certificate of Compliance
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Assist in the development and improvement of the Quality Management System.
- Assist with Third Party Audits (Customer/ISO).
- Lead or conduct internal audits.
- Assist with data collection, data entry, and document scanning.
- Ensure that product quality requirements are met throughout the facility.
- Assist the production team with First Article Inspection utilizing measuring equipment.
- Assist in the development of corrective/preventative actions related to product nonconformance
- Assist with the Customer's PPAP preparation and annual submissions
- Assist with reviewing and making changes to engineering drawings.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate’s Degree in related field (Preferred)
- 3 or more years of related work experience in an industrial construction setting is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Sharp attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- GD&T Knowledge.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility
- Proficient in a high-resolution camera-based measuring system or similar
- Certified ISO Auditor Certification is a PLUS.
- User-level knowledge with ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, etc.
- Problem-solving Tools such as 5Whys, 8D, etc.
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Frequently lift and/or move objects up to 20 lbs; occasionally up to 35 lbs.
