· Establishing and maintaining the quality management system under the Director of Quality/QMS Rep
· Auditing the implementation of the quality system under the Director of Quality/QMS Rep
· Initiating requests for, and follow up on corrective actions
· Communicating with customers to establish standards / requirements or obtain information for clarification
· The development and maintenance of the Viking Quality Manual, including scheduled reviews and updates (under the director of Quality/ QMS Rep)
· Establishing and maintaining (with help from Human Resources ) a training program in accordance with the requirements of IATF and the quality system of EPC..
· Actively participating in Management Review / QOS process.
· Responsible for managing hold area and containment activities
· Address routine day to day external and internal quality issues, including interaction and follow up with customers.
· Responsible for control of inspection equipment, including checking fixtures.
· Performance of other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
· Understanding of Quality Policy and how it affects this position.
· In depth understanding of IATF- 16001 Quality System
· In depth understanding of problem solving and corrective action process
· Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and suppliers
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment
· In depth understanding of Quality Cost analysis
· In depth understanding of APQP and PPAP processes.
· Ability to manage and report necessary quality data during CIC and Management Review
· Knowledge of Computer System: Syteline, document locator, SQC pack.
Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years quality management experience.
