The Quality Manager will assist in overseeing the quality department. With a strong API and ISO standards knowledge the Quality Manager will be a key member in internal and external audits, developing procedures and managing personnel.

- Participating in any training provided by the employer.
- Cooperating with any person exercising a duty under the OHS legislation.
- Responsible to provide technical knowledge and oversight within Quality department
- Responsible to maintain up-to-date knowledge of process improvements and technical developments.
- Responsible to create Quality Management System documentation of manufacturing and associated processes to comply with API Q1.
- Responsible to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Responsible to understand established API and ISO standards and specifications and ensures all products meet established specifications.
- Responsible to build peoples’ capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training and communication.
- Responsible to provide guidance, leadership and role modelling for colleagues and direct reports.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations.
- Responsible for working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and shipping and receiving.- 3+ years working as a Quality Manager in a machining manufacturing and assembly environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop Management System Procedures, Instructions and Forms in compliance with API Q1.
- Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment.
- Demonstrated computed proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to read and understand part drawings.
- Experience with precision measuring equipment, tolerancing and part interconnectivity.
- API Q1, ISO9001 and Internal and External Audit experience a must.
- ISO9001 Lead Auditor certificate.
