Primary Duties & Responsibilities
•Inspect and measure parts using precision measuring tools to ensure conformance with material and product specifications.
•Prepare, maintain, and organize quality verification records and documentation in compliance with quality standards.
•Review and interpret sketches, technical drawings, manuals, specifications, and sample parts to establish dimensional and tolerance requirements.
•Approve finished products by confirming specifications through visual inspections and measurement tests; identify and return non-conforming products for rework and verify corrections.
•Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, production control, sales, compliance agencies, customers, and shop personnel on quality-related matters.
Adhere to all applicable state and federal laws, the company’s ISO Quality Management System, corporate policies, and all safety and environmental regulations.
Job Requirements
•Prior machine operator experience is preferred.
•Familiarity with industrial processes and standard quality control methodologies.
•Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
•Effective problem-solving skills to identify root causes and recommend timely resolutions.
•Strong organizational and planning abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Education & Experience Qualifications
•High school diploma required; some college or technical training is preferred.
•Minimum of 3 years of experience or formal training in a quality inspection or similar role.
•Prior experience in a CNC machine shop is highly desirable.
•Up to 3 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, preferably in a process-oriented or related industry.
Familiarity with coordinate measuring tools is considered an asset.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
•Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and arms, communicate clearly, and visually inspect parts.
•Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
•Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
•Visual acuity requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment in a moderately noisy manufacturing environment.
