Summary of Position: The basic function of the Inspector is to oversee all aspects of quality throughout the shop.

•
Ensure that the necessary inspections are performed, including receiving, in process, and final inspections.
•
Prepare reports, disseminate information and keep records as needed.
•
Supervise quality of work being performed according to the provisions of appropriate policies and procedures.
•
Ensure that all inspection gages, tools, and equipment are maintained and calibrated according to standard procedures.
•
Immediately report quality problems or conditions that require management attention to designated managers.
•
Oversee all aspects of the quality system and report any breakdown to the quality manager.
•
Aid in training other employees in the use of inspection equipment and techniques.
•
Constantly strive to increase knowledge and efficiency in inspection techniques including cmm’s.
•
Responsible for upkeep of quarantine area.
Experience & Education:
Required: A high school education or equivalent
SHIFT: 6:30am - 3:00pm M-F
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
