Responsibilities and essential functions:
Maintains quality standards by inspecting engineered fabrications, in-process production, and finished products, recording quality results. The quality inspector will be responsible for reading mechanical drawings and have a working knowledge on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance and be able to apply this knowledge to measurement of equipment/parts. The quality inspector will also be involved in ensuring processes & equipments are up to standard & meet necessary requirements.
•Inspects engineered fabrications by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; documenting deficiencies and acceptable results.
•Inspects in-process production stages and finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; documenting deficiencies and acceptable results.
•Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
•Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions.
•Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
•Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
•Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
•Other duties as assigned.

•Facilitate processes, improvement and monitoring make-up sub-assemblies, testing and load-outs
•Review company/Vendor’s Drawings from manufacturing and follow-up with all non-conforming issues
•Is responsible for release of product for shipment, i.e., final review and approval of products, including all associated data and documentation.
•Orderly collect and manage/check documents certifying tests, controls, and inspections documents, ensuring that all welding and testing related records form a complete package and reflect the ‘As Built’.
•Approval and control of quality documentation during the assembly and test cycle
•Able to work in an office and shop environment and be able to lift 25-50 pounds.

Required:
•3+ years of quality inspection experience preferred.
•Knowledge of QC operations preferable in the oil and gas industry.
•Ability to use measuring tools (micrometers, Calipers, tape measure) and able to read technical drawings.
•Good written and oral communication skills.
•Familiarity with Microsoft outlook and Microsoft packages.
Salary:
•Hourly rate of $23.00 to $28.00 depending on experience.
