Position Overview:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our services. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes, conducting audits, and collaborating with various departments to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.

- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Identify areas for improvement and work collaboratively with teams to implement corrective actions.

- Analyze data and generate reports to track quality performance and trends.

- Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance processes and best practices.

- Participate in project planning and execution to ensure quality objectives are met.

- Meeting regularly with the project manager.

- Reviewing electronic work orders within our application database for accuracy.

- Validating all fields are present and correctly entered.

- Reviewing digital photos within the electronic work order system.

- Correcting work order data errors.

- Communicating common issues to the project team.

- Compile and maintain relevant project metrics for weekly QA progress meetings and audits.

- Stay updated on industry developments and integrate new quality assurance methodologies as appropriate.

- In field quality assurance will be required as needed

- Any other duties which your manager may assign you from time to time.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within the utility sector; certification in quality assurance would be considered an asset.

- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Experience working in municipal/provincial/federal capital projects an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 28 months

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
