This position supports Oil-Dri’s
Quality, Safety, Environmental, and WE CARE values, partnering closely with facility leadership to plan and execute Quality-driven projects, with a strong emphasis on
New Product Development (NPD).
- This position is based at an active mine site and requires daily onsite presence. Work conditions may include uneven terrain, climbing ladders, navigating steps, and exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, rain, or mud.
- Monday - Friday onsite required.
- Travel up to
25%
to support other facilities
- Lead and support
Quality-focused NPD, process improvement, and infrastructure projects
- Provide
on-the-floor support
for NPD trials and launches
- Partner with
Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Product Management teams
- Track performance metrics and prepare project updates
- Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- BS degree required.
- 1+ year of experience in manufacturing or process environments preferred- Hands-on experience with SOPs, work instructions, and process standards
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and lead cross-functional teams
- Willingness to work extended hours when needed
Certifications (required or to be obtained within 24 months):
- ASQ (CQE and/or CMQ/OE) and/or SME Lean certifications
- Professional safety certification (as determined by leadership)
