Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing Manager to oversee our procurement processes and ensure the efficient acquisition of goods and services. Responsibilities

- Manage the sourcing process for materials, supplies, and services to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.

- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to foster collaboration and resolve any issues that arise.

- Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.

- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and operations, to streamline procurement processes.

- Utilize SAP or other procurement management software to track purchases, manage contracts, and analyze spending data.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.

- Proficient in contract negotiation techniques to secure advantageous agreements.

- Experience in procurement management with a focus on sourcing high-quality materials.

- Ability to buy effectively while considering cost efficiency and quality standards.

- Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems is preferred.
