About This Role

NorthStar Energy Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Purchasing Administrator

to support our procurement operations. The ideal candidate will be highly comfortable with data entry and experienced in ERP systems. This role is essential in ensuring accurate purchase order processing, shipment tracking, and interdepartmental coordination.

What You'll Do

•

Enter and manage purchase orders accurately in the ERP system.

•

Receive and confirm deliveries using packing lists and proof of delivery documents.

•

Coordinate with jobsites to verify material receipts and identify any discrepancies.

•

Work with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to resolve invoice and payment issues.

•

Request vendor quotes and assist in issuing purchase orders when needed.

•

Maintain clear records of procurement activities and status of open orders.

•

Communicate with vendors and internal teams to support on-time deliveries and updates.

What You'll Bring

•

HS Diploma or GED

+ Assocates in Business or Supply Chain, preferred

•

3+ years of experience in industrial or construction industries (e.g., pipe, electrical, civil).

•

Proficiency with ERP software systems (SAP, Oracle, Viewpoint, etc.).

•

Skilled in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook

•

Strong accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and documentation.

•

Effective communicator with strong organizational and time management skills.
