- Component Replacement:
Replace worn or failed parts, including stators, seals, shafts, impellers, and bearing assemblies
- Reassembly:
Reassemble the pump and motor according to manufacturer specifications and strict quality standards
- Testing:
Conduct commercial no-load tests, final electrical testing, and other performance tests to verify the pump's proper operation
- Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of all activities and inspections performed
The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the pump and motor replacement project, including budget and schedule management, leading multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating stakeholders, and managing contracts and contractors.
- Define project objectives, develop detailed schedules, and execute projects from start to finish
- Ensure strict adherence to nuclear safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures
- Identify and manage project risks, oversee change orders, and prepare formal progress reports to stakeholders
Preferred experience in:
ASW, CWP, CBP, RHR, CCW & Pumps and Motor experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of project management experience, - or 10+
years of project management experience in nuclear or power generation facilities
without a degree.
- Mandatory experience leading large pump and motor replacement projects is required.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear safety standards and regulatory compliance (10 CFR, NQA-1, etc.)
- Proven experience with budget management, schedule control, and leading multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
