The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for creating, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules that support engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning efforts. This role is essential to ensuring schedule performance, forecasting risks, and developing mitigation strategies throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Develop detailed, resource‑loaded schedules from early design through construction.
- Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities into a comprehensive master schedule.
- Track schedule progress and conduct critical path and impact analyses.
- Prepare schedule updates, narrative summaries, and performance reports.
- Support change management processes by evaluating schedule impacts of scope modifications.
- Collaborate closely with cost control, construction, and engineering teams to maintain alignment across disciplines.
- Identify schedule risks and develop recovery or mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all schedules adhere to project planning standards, procedures, and best practices.- 10+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
- Demonstrated experience supporting petrochemical or refining projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 or comparable scheduling software.
- Strong knowledge of EPC execution methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
