Idaho Power — located in vibrant Boise, Idaho — is looking for a Project Scheduler to join our Planning, Engineering, and Construction team. It’s an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. What does a Project Scheduler do for us?
They develop and maintain master schedules for design, construction, operations, and maintenance resources. They provide strategic resource information from an enterprise-wide perspective for executive planning and decision-making.

A COMPETITIVE CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
Knowledge of:* Project management techniques, scheduling theory including Critical Path Method (CPM), and integration of scheduling best practicesPreferred:* Utility construction techniques, equipment, systems, operations, and materials management
Skills in:* Use of personal computers and project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, SAP, or similar
Preferred:* Use of Microsoft Project Server and PowerBI
Ability to:* Manage several projects at one time with frequent interruptions
Preferred:* Lead group discussions and provide group training on scheduling
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education:* Bachelor's degree in business management with an emphasis in operations or production management, industrial engineering, construction management
OR* An equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred:* Master's degree in construction management or related field
Licenses & Certifications:* Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record based on driving requirements for the position
This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people. There may be occasional lifts of no more than 10 lbs. The above is a summary of the primary essential functions of the position. This job may require the performance of additional tasks assigned by company leaders or management. Job requires occasional travel including some overnight stays and the ability to work flexible hours. In addition, this position requires the ability to perform occasional field visits which will require work in an outdoor environment on uneven terrain and in all types of extreme weather conditions; work in and around energized stations and within the proximity of extreme high voltage (EHV) equipment; occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds such as files, laptop PCs, and AV equipment; and work for long periods of time using a keyboard and computer monitor.
