Operations Services, Inc. established utility services provider in the water treatment services market. We provide management services for utilities, and specialized water treatment plants, industrial pretreatment, private developer services, residential sewage pumps services, municipal lift station services and billing services. We employ a small team of people at various locations in Michigan and Illinois. This specific position is based in Gaylord Michigan.
Job Summary
Searching for a Project Coordinator/Scheduler with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to diagnose complex problems. The candidate will have experience with scheduling software and have a strong background with Microsoft Office. The ideal person will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work from scratch. This is a new position, and the responsibilities and duties will be evolving with the focus on scheduling service and repair work along with driving our social media presence.
Responsibilities & Duties
•Compiling work packages for crews,
•Reviewing field generated paperwork daily,
•Working extensively with excel and Jobber to manage database information,
•Manage various social media apps,
•Working with tablets to organize work packages based on geography and Client driven priority requirements,
•Ensure all completed work is billed,
•Track and manage in progress work orders,
•Tracking installation and production data,
•Provide monthly project updates for our clients,
•Provide monthly progress reports for billings, preventative maintenance schedules and overall department progress,
•Cultivate and promote positive working relationships with internal management team, site supervisors, subcontractors and other contractors on site.
Work Experience
•Construction and/or service-based industry experience preferred,
•Previous administrative roles in a fast-paced construction or services-based environment,
•Military experience may be considered in place of job experience,
•Strong computer and technology skills will be required.
Skills
•Must be able to work on a team and be able to communicate, follow directions and help others as needed,
•Must be dependable and adhere to daily work schedule,
•Must obtain negative drug test and clear a background check prior to hire,
•Communicate and interact with internal employees, colleagues and clients in a professional and timely manner,
•Proven business writing skills,
•Excellent computer skills beyond basic Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
•Ability to work and think independently to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
•We need a disciplined person with very strong organizational skills.
Required Education
•High school or equivalent
Required licenses or certifications
•Driver's License in good standing
