We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team and drive project success.
The Project Manager at Fusion Industries Inc. will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of custom fabrication and welding projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge of fabrication processes, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines.
- Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, production, and coating teams to ensure seamless project execution from design to delivery.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client specifications are met.
- Resource Management: Oversee material procurement and labor allocation, ensuring efficient use of resources,
- Quality Control: Monitor fabrication and welding processes to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., CWB certification) and client requirements.
- Budget and Timeline Management: Track project costs and schedules, mitigating risks to avoid delays or cost overruns.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and final deliverables.
- Education: Experience in project management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in industrial fabrication.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or construction industries, preferably with welding and coating processes.
- Skills:
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs such as Excel.
- Knowledge of fabrication materials (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum) and processes.
- Knowledge or experience of metal fabrication methods like laser, plasma, forming, rolling, machining.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client and team relationships.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with industry standards, such as CWB or ASME certifications.
