Job Summary
The Vegetation Management (VM) Project Manager (PM) will have direct oversight of the NYSEG/RGE Electric Distribution system maintenance, reclamation, and danger tree programs. General activities will include coordinating multiple complex activities, applying specific skills and knowledge to meet project requirements, solving complex project management problems to ensure timely completion of the defined annual work plan. This role will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on supplier performance, ensuring proper documentation of Quality Audits, and Safety Observations conducted by the Divisional Arborists. Responsible for managing internal/external resource requirements, priorities, and project execution strategy.
In this role, you will facilitate the work of external contractors and other internal business areas, holding them accountable for performance and results. Additionally, you will provide technical advice to senior management as needed. The Project Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
