Project Manager/Commercial Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Commercial Glazing Estimator to join our team. As an Project Manager/Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and providing detailed estimates for aluminum/glass construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a deep understanding of estimating and project management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand project requirements

- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates

- Visit constructions sites to properly assess work involved

- Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to determine project pricing

- Provide support to project teams during the pre-construction phase

SKILLS

- Must have working knowledge of Alumicor, Kawneer and US Aluminum products

- Must have knowledge with automatics and door hardware

- Strong analytical and mathematical skills

- Excellent attention to detail

- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings

- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques

- Familiarity with project management principles

- Strong negotiation skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
