About the Role

As a Project Estimator Intern, you’ll play a vital role in helping prepare accurate bids and cost estimates for signage projects. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and client services to ensure projects are scoped properly, budgets are managed, and proposals are client-ready. This role offers valuable experience in estimation, project coordination, and client services within a high-growth company.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing cost estimates and bids for signage projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.

- Gather and analyze project specifications, client needs, and industry standards.

- Collaborate with project managers and designers to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.

- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and supporting documentation.

- Research and obtain pricing information from suppliers and vendors to support bid preparation.

- Coordinate communication between clients and internal teams regarding bids and project updates.

- Track and follow up on submitted bids, ensuring timely responses and client feedback.

- Assist in preparing client presentations, reports, and other materials.

- Provide administrative support to the Client Services team to facilitate smooth project workflows.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, Architecture, Project Management, or related field (preferred).

- Previous experience in Client Services, Project Assistance, or Estimation (experience in the signage industry is a plus).

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Project Management tools.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client relations.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- A basic understanding of the construction industry, signage materials, and production processes is advantageous.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
