Overview

The Project Estimator is an integral part of both the sales and project management teams. This role will not only assist in the initiation, planning, and completion of projects, but will help develop and maintain relationships with customers by providing high levels of service that meet the building and construction needs of our customers.

Duties

- Plan, schedule, and coordinate the technical and production aspects of projects.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and prospects.

- Prepare project and/or material sales cost estimations and present quotes to customers.

- Provide ongoing communication and collaboration with the engineering department, customer, and Company Management to ensure successful project completion.

- Coordinate with Company Management regarding the production schedule and timeline for completion of materials.

- Act as primary point of contact for customers throughout project implementation, providing regular communication and any necessary follow-up.

- Facilitate/arrange shipment of materials to the customer.

- Work cross-functionally to establish and maintain positive working relationships within the company.

Qualifications

- Excellent attention to detail

- Superior organizational skills

- Knowledge of AutoCAD software

- Good communication skills

- Previous experience in the construction industry

- High school diploma or GED
