Project Overview:
Support energy efficiency projects, including lighting direct install projects, managing projects through all stages from initiation to closeout.
- Manage medium-sized projects and multiple modifications concurrently.
- Coordinate internal and external resources for all project activities.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, environmental, safety, and code requirements.
- Develop and manage design documents, specifications, budgets, forecasts, bid documents, and funding requests.
- Partner with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders on contracts, change orders, invoices, construction sequencing, and quality inspections.
- Experience in electrical, mechanical, structural, HVAC, lighting, or distributed energy projects.
- Proven ability to manage technical and commercial aspects of projects.
- Collaborative, team-oriented, and able to build vendor and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, regulations, budgets, and project management software.
- Ability to perform engineering calculations, and prepare specifications, scopes of work, and design packages.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Energy Engineering, or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in project/construction management, preferably in utility, commercial, or institutional projects.
